超級星光大道 is apparently a mega popular singing competition in taiwan.
i hardly (actually, never) followed it,
cos it’s all chinese songs that i’m unfamilar with.
but when i happened to chance upon this, i was immediately blown away.

aj, like all toddlers, has a problem making some consonant sounds. Rs and Ls and Fs etc.
so we were sitting down to breakfast one morning and having some nice conversation and he says:
“fuk.”
what? …. oh, fork. can you say forrrrk?
“fuk”
hmmm. ah, but clever me – i live in a bilingual environment so i can always use the french instead!
aj, can you say forchette?
nodding, then with a straight face says:
“bulshett”
clever, clever.
from the mall to the playlist at the store to students’ ringing tone.
but this has to be the best version so far.
